It started in 2005 with a 2mm x 20mm barbell piercing. I used a 2mm syringe needle for it. The spot between the two corpora cavernosa at the top of my penis, directly below the glans, seemed best suited for a shaft piercing straight into the urethra. What surprised me was how tough the penile tissue is and how much force it takes to push a 2mm needle through it. I couldn't just go ahead and do it, as I didn't know how my body would react to the pain. It was ultimately a lengthy process with a successful outcome. Over the following years, I enlarged the piercing several times and also let it close up again. It's currently 18mm.
