My penectomy
In early June 2019, I developed a serious infection under my foreskin. I didn’t go to the doctor for months, which caused the infection to spread to my entire external penis. By the time I went to the doctor, it turned out that I had penile necrosis (infection), and my penis had to be amputated. On November 29, 2019, my entire external penis was amputated, along with about 1 cm of the internal part. I lost my penis when I was 25, sometime during my university years. The amputation took place in a rural hospital in Hungary. I have been living without a penis for years. My internal penis stump is regularly erect, as I can only ejaculate 1 times a 1-4 month. My testicles are always full, which is very frustrating. My parents live abroad, and to this day I haven’t told them that my penis had to be amputated due to an infection. I am currently 31 years old.
