How do you like being split? When I was at that stage, I really wanted to get past the head. Go slow in the shaft many sessions if your goal is to get back far enough to not regrow the head.

It’s awesome watching the change as it splits more and more. Yes I’m going slow small cutting sessions as I cut while hard for best results with straight cuts. I can’t wait to cut through the corona ridge and see it flop open!!! I plan to cut to my curc scar and then I’ll be happy. I keep a captive bead ring around on side of the split to stop regrowth and it seems to be working

Ok but don't get carried away. Big cuts cause retraction of scar tissue.
