there was blood initially, but cleared up

I made this cut in 3 stages and not all at once. Each day it did bleed in the new area I cut, but by the third day when the cut was enough to push the nut through there was minimal bleeding. I used steri-strips each day to hold the area closed and then reopened the following day.
